Vehicle Details
This luxurious model was originally purchased in March 1966 by Dr. Erhard Cluss of Gehrden, Germany. The last of the hand-built Mercedes, only 13 cars per week rolled off the production line. The W111 cabriolets and coupes are true classics. Unlike other automobiles, these cars were classics the day they rolled off the production line, and have remained so ever since.

In 1980, this example was purchased and imported from Germany to the United States. It later found its way to Canada, and underwent a complete frame off restoration in Toronto in 2006 -2007. Extensive documentation is included with the car of the restoration. In April of 2013 the 250SE Cabriolet was acquired by the current owner and imported back to the United States where it first went to Rheinland Motors for a thorough inspection and sorting before final shipment to its current owner’s home where it has been cared for in a climate-controlled garage.
